David Lilly offers a diverse range of physiotherapy services including personalised hands-on treatment for your pain or injury.
Dave has over 10 years of experience as a physiotherapist, working in a variety of fields including treatment of musculoskeletal injuries, rehabilitation of neurological diseases and also geriatrics. He enjoys treating the variety of complaints that present at the Medical Centre, ranging from injuries and aches and pains of the body to vertigo. He employs soft tissue modalities such as massage, trigger point release and myofascial dry needling as well as mobilisation and manipulation of the body’s joint structures to aid in restoring correct movement and physiological function of the body. Exercise prescription is used for correcting movement and fulfilling rehabilitation. He is currently studying Pilates, an exercise system which is particularly useful for correcting movement patterns that result from injury and dysfunction. The mind-body connection is also of interest and is a valuable factor taken into account when David treats particularly where chronic pain or anxiety and depression are co-factors.
David also enjoys yoga, writing music and mountain biking in the hills of Kalamunda as well as travel. You don’t need a referral to see David but your GP may refer you for treatment under medicare if you fit certain criteria so don’t hesitate to come and see him as he is eager to help with any painful issues or injuries you are wanting assistance with.
